Meet the Chamber Board of Directors
Emily Dougherty, President
Emily is the owner of Blush Salon in downtown Chesaning. Emily has been doing hair since 2012, opening the Blush Salon in 2019. In her free time she also is a coach at CrossFit Steel courage. She enjoys dirt bikes, skiing, hiking and camping. Emily also serves on DDA board, Emily loves to be involved with the future of Chesaning and helping the community grow. Emily has been the Chairperson of the Dry-Tri since it's beginning and has enjoyed watching the event grow!
Laura Greenfelder, Vice-President
Laura is the owner of Creative Passions LLC and a member of the Chesaning Downtown Development Authority, Midland Quilter's Squared and Piecemaker's Quilt Guilds as well as an active Chesaning Chamber member. She is married to Kent Greenfelder and mother to Alexandra and Mackenzie. Her favorite activities are quilting with her mom, vacationing with her husband in Florida, reading, and relaxing with their dogs and many cats. Speaking of cats, she helps to control the feline population in Chesaning by trapping, neutering and releasing feral cats. Creative Passions Retreats continuously make pillowcases for local nursing homes, children's hospitals and branches of the military. She also enjoys making quilts for NICU's and foster children. Also new in 2020, her small committee will start a Saginaw County Barn Quilt Trail to encourage people to visit our County.
Jessica Lichnovsky, Secretary
Jessica is the Branch Manager at the Chesaning location of The State Bank. She is married to Anthony Lichnovsky and they have three children, Anthony, Nathan and Abigail. Jessica volunteers for many community organizations including the Chesaning DDA, Montrose Blueberry Festival and Chesaning Fireworks and she participates in highway clean-up. She is also a member of our Chamber Marketing and Membership Team and Golf Outing Committee. When not working or sharing her talents in the community, she enjoys family vacations, cookouts, planting flowers and enjoying time with her family.
Amy Handley, Treasurer
Amy has worked in Chesaning for over 24 years. She recently became the Branch Manager of Frankenmuth Credit Union and is enjoying the new challenges that change brings. She loves working in a small community and taking care of her customers. She is also the Treasurer for the Chesaning Rotary Club. She is married to her husband Jerry and has three grown sons. When not working she enjoys spending her time with family, especially her three grandchildren.
Jeremy Hoover, Board of Directors
Jeremy Hoover is the owner of J Hoover Construction and is proud to represent the business community through the Chamber of Commerce. Jeremy grew up in Chesaning and returned in 2011 to start his own family. He is married to Jami Hoover and has two children, Hudson and Ruby. He enjoys golfing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.
Juan Bush, Board of Directors
Juan Bush is the General Manager of Garber Chevrolet Buick in Chesaning. He has been a resident of St. Charles for 17 years and worked with Garber for 20. Juan has been married for 20 years to wife Maribel and they have three children: Sadina, Rickey, and Trent along with their newest family member, granddaughter Averie. Juan and his family enjoy outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, boating, and riding in their side by side. When they aren't outside, they enjoy watching sports. Juan is honored to be a part of Chesaning and looks forward to helping the community in any way that he and Garber Chevrolet can be of assistance.
Greg Bruff, Board of Directors
Greg is a financial adviser at MMB Advisors. He and his wife, Nicole, are residents of Maple Grove and they have one son named Jacob. Greg is also the President of the Chesaning Downtown Development Authority. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, snowmobiling and spending time with his family.
Nick Stoddard, Board of Directors
Nick is part of the Stoddard Family businesses including Stoddard Classic Cars and Stoddard Mobile Court & Sales. He and his wife, Jessica, have two beautiful boys, Keighan and Pierce. He is active with the Church of Jubilee, Chesaning Car Show, Old Gas Tractor Show, Store Front Church and Millington Community Center. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to car auctions and playing the saxophone.
Bobbi McIntyre, Board of Directors
Bobbi Bates has been a resident of Chesaning for many years. She is the owner of Studio 124 since April of 1995 and worked for Pat O'Hare, the previous owner, for 10 years prior. Bobbi has been actively involved on the board since 2008, serving as President in 2015. She is the mother of two daughters, Tiffany and Brandi Frederick, both graduates of Chesaning Union High and is enjoying her grandchildren. Bobbi loves to travel with her husband, Dave, taking road trips on their Harley exploring the great state of Michigan.
Amanda Hauman, Board of Directors
Amanda Hauman is an owner of Big Rock Coffee & Events with her husband, Nick, mother-in-law and husband, Julie and Steve. She is originally from Merrill, but came to Chesaning often as a teen. Her and her husband lived out of state several years for graduate school and careers, but decided to move back home to be with family. It was one of the best decisions they ever made, especially becoming part of the Chesaning community.
Annette George, Board of Directors
Annette is the Administrator of the Chesaning Nursing Care Center. She has returned to Chesaning to work because she loves the Chesaning community. In her free time she enjoys time on a snowmobile, bike, side by side or walking on the beach or in a swimming pool. She once owned a retail antiques business and still loves spotting hidden value. She uses this trait in finding the best in people processes or old furniture!
Trina Castanon, Board of Directors
This locally raised business owner of Mijo's Food Truck is constantly on the go with her business for most of the season. Mother to Justin, Allie, Taylor, Randi, Mariah and Jeremiah she transformed her love of family cooking into a family business. Her and her husband, Steve, love to travel in their free time and enjoy Detroit Tiger Baseball games in the summer.

Promoting Chesaning businesses and community events is an important job, but it’s made easy when you are surrounded by amazing volunteers and hard-working professionals. I’ve been lucky enough to call Chesaning home since 1994. Happy to be married to my husband Joe for 27 years and raising our three wonderful children together, we enjoy Chesaning sports teams. We love to serve Chesaning in our 5th-generation hardware, Chesaning Sales Co., ACE Hardware. Happily serving families since 1880.
