2023 Chesaning Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards 

2022  Star employee of the year Ben Schroeder. Ben has been a devoted employee to Rootnote landscaping for 7 years. He started when he was 14 years old and grown into a mature adult. He showed leadership and initiative. This year Ben is starting his own power washing company. Good luck to the future Chesaning entrepreneur.
2022 Volunteer of the year Mary VanLoon. Mary is involved in many things in Chesaning and has been for years. Some of the few are Rehmanns health center, United Appeal, Fire Dept board, Blood drive, and working the elections. Thank you Mary for being so dedicated to our town.

2022 Business person of the year Marty Maier. Marty co-owns MMB financial (with Greg Bruff and Jerry Morse) and has just recently purchased Harris insurance agency (along with Scott Kohagen). In the past, he reopened Frostys and gave Chesaning an ice cream parlor again. He has been on the Chesaning Board of Education and very involved in the schools. He was on the board of the Chamber of Commerce, where he dedicated many hours to volunteer for events. He is dedicated to his town and his family.
